Digital Camcorders have developed so much over recent years that they are now so small and compact they can be mistaken for a digital camera. Two factors to consider when buying are the storage format and whether it is an HD model. New formats mean finding a certain selection of your footage has never been easier as you can watch on the LCD screen and skip through whole scenes rather than fast forwarding and recording hours of tape. DVD camcorders are great for the convenience of videoing and transferring footage to a PC or TV and can store about 30 minutes of footage. We also strongly recommend checking out the weight and dimensions of a camcorder before making your final decision as it needs to be comfortable for you to use.
